How to start with Postalify
This guide helps users quickly launch and use all key bot features without technical setup details.
1. First steps
- Open @PostalifyBot and press /start.
- Select your interface language.
- Go to My Channels and add your first chat.
2. How to add a channel or group
- Add the bot as an administrator in your channel or group.
- For channels, grant required permissions: post, edit, and delete messages.
- Forward any message from that chat to the bot.
- After validation, the chat appears in My Channels.
Private chats are supported if admin permissions are configured correctly.
3. Create a post
In Create Post you can send:
- text,
- photo, video, media album,
- document, voice message, video note.
After sending content, the bot shows a preview and the post control panel.
4. Post settings
- select channels/groups,
- schedule publishing time,
- auto-delete,
- URL buttons under the post,
- media spoiler,
- end signature,
- image watermark,
- multi-language mode (if enabled in your workflow).
5. End signature
Two modes are available:
- Channel name + link — bot inserts channel data automatically.
- Custom text + link — format:
Text | https://link.
For private channels, channel name + link may be unavailable. Use custom text + link instead.
6. Watermarks
For images you can configure:
- text source (channel URL/name or custom text),
- position,
- font, color, size, opacity.
Watermarks are applied at publish time, so one post can be published to multiple channels with flexible branding.
7. My Channels
- view connected chats,
- rename channels in bot UI,
- remove channels from bot.
8. My Bases
A base is a set of posts for automated publishing by rules.
- create a base and set interval,
- link channels to the base,
- set posts per cycle,
- infinite mode — after finishing all posts, publishing starts again from the beginning.
9. Recommended workflow
- Add channels/groups.
- Create and configure a post.
- Check preview.
- Publish now or schedule.
- Use bases for recurring content operations.
